Kathryn Walsh Psychotherapy in Bristol

Psychotherapy in Bristol

Could you benefit from a place to take some time-out? ... to explore your thoughts and feelings? ... to get back on a front foot again?

My name is Kathy Walsh and I have been a practising Psychotherapist in Bristol for the past 20 years. I am committed to providing psychotherapy in a safe and non-judgemental environment.

I work with individuals on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of offering a confidential, compassionate approach in working with you to make meaning of your experience and thereby recognise old unhealthy patterns that can get in the way when we relate with those and the world around us.  I am experienced in working with the following :

  • Stress
  • Relationships
  • Panic Attacks
  • Anxiety
  • Bereavement
  • Redundancy
  • Depression
  • Addiction
  • Disordered eating
  • Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
  • LGBTQ+
  • Sexuality
  • Self Harm
  • Neurodiversity

I also work with students who are themselves in a therapy training.

At this time I work at The Harbourside Practice BS1 6SW and I offer in person, phone and video-link sessions.  My practice is located within easy reach of central Bristol and has good transport links (bus & train).  If you would like to have an initial phone chat please contact me and we can make a time to do this.
